WebCPR is a division of DataCPR, which is a proudly Canadian company based in Hamilton, Ontario. Started in 2003, DataCPR develops custom software, database applications and websites. We have delivered everything from basic, brochure-like websites to sites with complex, interactive applications.
WebCPR was launched in 2017 to focus on website design and development for nonprofits and charities. We recognize that needs for these organizations are different than those for the profit sector. We also recognize that attracting donors and volunteers, as well as effectively sharing mission, vision and services is key to survival for nonprofits and charities.
At WebCPR, our mission is simple:
Create effective and impacting WordPress websites and digital solutions for nonprofits and charities to attract donors and volunteers.
By delivering highly effective solutions at a fair price, we strive to create substantial, measurable and lasting value for our clients.
Along with our parent company DataCPR, we have created over $2M of value for our clients.
Randy Bassett is the proud owner of WebCPR and DataCPR. Born and raised in Hamilton, Randy went to McMaster University, completing 2 undergraduate degrees and an MBA. He also spent 4 years working towards a Ph.D. in Business Information Systems but left before completion to get married and start a family.
Prior to starting DataCPR in 2003, Randy has held many positions including:
- Senior IT management with a government agency
- Senior Product Management for a world-class software development company
- Financial and Managment Accounting

He has written a number of white papers in the area of Business Information Management and was a contributing author to an Electronic Commerce book published by IBM.
Randy is the proud father of 2 children, one with complex medical and developmental challenges. Inspired by the need to seek the best for their daughter, Randy and his wife have become award-winning advocates, speakers, and authors for the needs of children with special needs.
Randy is also the co-founder and co-chair of a Opening Hearts - a registered charity that supports children with special needs and their families. He is very passionate about giving back to the community and supporting those in need, so he is very proud to have WebCPR focus on helping nonprofits and charities succeed.
